Light Housekeeping and Laundry Services
You may have noticed the signs that your loved one needs in-home care assistance with their Activities of Daily Living (ADLS).
You may also have noticed signs that they need with their household responsibilities, such as:
• A dirty house and/or extreme clutter.
• Piles of dirty dishes in the sink or around the house.
• Garbage is piling up and not taken out.
• Dirty laundry piling up.
• Food and other stains on the furniture or carpet.
• A pile of unopened mail or an overflowing mailbox.
If these signs are present, it doesn’t necessarily mean a move to assisted living or nursing home is required.
Our Light Housekeeping and Laundry Services
Living in a clean home is essential for both physical health and emotional well-being.
An environment that is not clean enables bacteria and germs to thrive; increasing the likelihood of infection or prolonged illness.
A clean house encourages visits from family, friends, clergy and others, which is important for socialization and mental health.
Our light housekeeping and laundry services can be added to our in-home care services to assist with living in a clean and hygienic home.
Our Light Housekeeping and Laundry Services Include:
• Kitchen cleaning
• Bathroom cleaning
• Bedroom cleaning and change of linens
• Laundry
• Wash dishes
• Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
• Collecting and taking out the garbage
We do not do deep cleaning or decluttering. We are caregivers, but we can recommend housekeeping companies for further services.
