Accompany to Appointments
Our care services extend beyond the home.
For many elders and those recovering from injuries, it can be difficult to get to their appointments due to physical and cognitive issues and they require a companion.
Our caregivers can escort your loved one to their appointments ensuring that they get there on time and return home safely.
We frequently accompany those in our care to:
• Doctor Appointments
• Medical Procedures
• Occupational and Physical Therapy Sessions
• Psychiatric Appointments
• Dental Appointments
• Eye Exams
• Hearing Exams
• Other Medical and Psychological Service Appointments
Our caregivers will:
• Get your loved one ready for their appointment
• Travel with the person to their appointment
• Help the person get to the office
• Stay with the person in the waiting room
• Escort the person back home safely after their appointment.
We are not licensed and insured as a transportation company. Transportation can be with The Ride, taxi, rideshare or a family member.
We can also refer you to a licensed car service that specializes in transporting the elderly and those using walkers, wheelchairs, or suffering from Alzheimer’s and Dementia.
It can be beneficial to have a third-party drive allowing your loved one and the caregiver to be dropped off together at the building entrance. Rather than having your loved one left alone at the entrance while the car is parked or having them navigate the parking lot or parking garage.
