The Dover Council on Aging coordinates and implements programs to meet the needs of the 60 and older population of Dover and their families. The COA provides programs and services that address the emotional, physical, and social needs of elders. Their focus is to enable seniors to live independently and comfortably in their own community, promote their well-being, maintain their dignity and enhance their quality of life.
- Dover – JFK Transportation Service
JFK Transportation provides rides to local destinations and to Boston. Their hours of service are Monday through Friday from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. For Local medical and non-medical rides, purchase 10-punch ride tickets at the Dover Council on Aging. Each ticket is $30.00. They appreciate 48 hour notice for rides.

The Dover Council on Aging runs senior craft programs including Knitting and Craft Classes on decorative accessories, wall hangings, seasonal cards and stationery. Program dates and times are listed in the Dover COA Newsletter.

The Dover Council on Aging runs varies senior fitness programs including: Exercise Classes, Qigong,

The Dover Council on Aging runs varies fun and learning events including Bridge, Page Turners Book Club, Mah Jongg and Lifetime Learning, a series of lectures and seminars conducted through The Friends of the Dover COA. The Dover COA Newsletter lists dates and times of programs.

The Dover Council on Aging organizes varies social events including the COA Monthly Luncheons with speakers and entertainment, Spirituality Series faith-based topics with light lunch, Circle of Friends monthly at Grace Church, a monthly Senior Coffee Hour, monthly Afternoon Tea.
